Barsisa , The Devout
Barsisa was a famous devout among children of Israel whose long prayers had made him so near to God that he could cure mentally ills through his blessing . Once a young lady from a gentle family was brought to him by her brothers to be cured. They agreed on her settlement for a period of time for treatment . From then on , Satan started tempting Barsisa and made the scene so attractive that he raped the lady . After some time, it came out that she became pregnant; since origin of greater sins is itself a sin, he killed the woman and buried somewhere in desert.
The brothers got informed of the shocking murder; the news spread in the city and everybody heard of it , the commander was not an exception . In accompany with a group of people, he set out to investigate what really happened. When the devout’s crime was proved, they got him out of his temple and hanged him.
Some moments before being hanged, Satan was personified in front of him and said, “I am who misled you to such an end. Now, you will be saved if you obey my command”. “What should I do?”. “ Just bow down to me! ” , Satan replied . “ But I can not as you see my condition” . “An implication would be enough”. The devout moved his eyes and hand as sign of bowing down to Satan, immediately he died and departed from this world as a pagan.
